Beautiful Hydrangeas
from
Cornwall

Hydrangeas have been a part of the Cornish landscape for well over a century and can be seen in gardens all around the Duchy.

The original varieties were brought back from east Asia and north America by the great plant hunters of the 18th &19th centuries.

From these early varieties European breeders of the early/mid 20th century developed many of the varieties we still see today

The Hydrangea has since become a much loved garden plant all over the world and with some new and innovative breeding is enjoying ever increasing popularity.
